History of FTS

Fast Transport Services FTS was established in 1986 and specialises in business relocation and Integrated Services. Since the company began we have been working towards building close relationships with each and every one of our clients.

We are now one of the UK’s leading office removals companies, specialising in all aspects of your move from packing to porterage; we will ensure the safe and punctual transportation of your goods to any location in the UK or World Wide.

We hold the Quality Standard accreditation ISO 9001: 2000 as a measure of our Quality Assurance. As members of BAR (British Association of Removers) and OFT (Office of Fair Trading) we can assure you that we will act fairly and reasonably and uphold the standards contained within the Code of Practice.

As a member we must abide by the Code that dictates the standard of service you will receive, the quality of staff and what will happen if anything goes wrong. Most importantly the Code requires FTS to deal with you in a courteous and sympathetic manner at all times.

Environmental Policy

At FTS we are fully aware of the impact our services have on the environment and we endeavour to minimise our consumption of natural resources.

Fast Transport aims to foster among its staff, suppliers, customers and communities local to its operations, an understanding of environmental issues in the context of its business. Our collective task is to ensure that we continually improve the environmental impact of our total activities. Our people are trained and motivated to behave in an environmentally responsible manner throughout their everyday activities.

FTS re-cycles and re-uses as much of its equipment and consumables as possible. All of our paper products are made from recycled paper. Where this is not possible, then wood from a sustainable source is used. All of our office waste including paper, plastic, cardboard and metal is recycled on a weekly basis. Our IT equipment is donated to local charities for recycling and is used for training and development.
